Funny and true story ~ I get motion sick. My boys love to make fun of me because of it and because rides tend to make me act out of character. Movement under my feet tends to make me have to crawl because my eyes and mind can’t decipher that the floor isn’t moving. Despite this, I decided in late 2014 that I would ride rides and enjoy everything every park had to offer even if I got sick, or scared or had to crawl while others laughed.
The Seuss Trolley at Universal Studios Orlando was my first ever roller coaster experience in December 2014. It is designed for the very young and young at heart {like me!}. Let’s just say that lots of laughs were had by grown people with young children during my first ride. I am pretty sure it made the kids feel like superheroes as I tried to hold it together and whimpered.
By the way, it goes very slow – but to me it was way too fast. LOL I jumped off the ride and screamed “I lived” and then walked down the lane and got myself a giant cookie downstairs. Because that’s what we do.
